Galvanized hip vent skylight was recommended along with a new 8 inch curb.Curb was properly waterproof using liquid applied membrane.Skylight was then installed to the new curb.
Client decided he wants more natural sunlight in his apartment,old access hatch opening were used for new skylight curb.
Old access hatch removed, new framing and curb install, liquid membrane applied to seal of the elements. Velux skylight installed over new curb.
